Sheet Pro (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Information We Collect
When you use Sheet Pro, we may collect the following types of information:
a) Personally Identifiable Information (PII)
Email address — collected when you sign in with Google.
Used for authentication, account management, and associating your subscription.
b) Authentication Information
OAuth tokens provided by Google during sign-in.
These tokens are stored securely in your browser storage and are used only to maintain your login session. We never collect or store your Google password.
c) Financial and Payment Information
Billing information such as subscription status and plan type via Stripe.
We never see or store your credit card details. Stripe processes all payments directly.
d) Website Content
Formulas from the currently active Google Sheet when you use the extension’s trace functionality.
This data is read only from your open spreadsheet tab and displayed inside the extension.
Formula content is never sent to third parties and is not stored on our servers.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information for the following purposes:
To authenticate you and provide secure access to Sheet Pro.
To track usage (number of traces used) and enforce free plan limits.
To manage billing and subscriptions.
To display formulas and help you navigate references inside Google Sheets.
To provide customer support if you contact us.
We do not sell or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers.
3. Data Storage & Security
Authentication tokens are stored locally in your browser’s extension storage.
Usage data (e.g. number of traces used) is stored securely in our backend database hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
All communication with our backend and Stripe is encrypted via HTTPS.
4. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party providers to deliver Sheet Pro:
Google (for sign-in and Sheets integration).
Amazon Web Services (AWS) (for secure hosting of backend services and databases).
Stripe (for subscription billing and payments).
Each third-party service has its own privacy policy which governs their use of your data.
5. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you.
Request corrections or updates.
Request deletion of your account and data.
Withdraw your consent for processing (e.g. by signing out and uninstalling the extension).

6. Data Retention
We retain your account data (email, subscription status, usage counts) while your account is active.
